Rob Gronkowski’s surgically repaired back appears to be doing just fine.
The Patriots tight end made a surprise appearance at Wrestlemania 33 in Orlando on Sunday, hopping into the ring and getting involved in the action.
Gronkowski was sitting in the front row during the Andre the Giant Battle Royal cheering on his friend Mojo Rawley when Jinder Mahal threw a drink at him.
Gronkowski left his seat and started making his way toward the ring, removing his shirt (of course) and hopping the rope despite a feeble attempt from the referees to stop him.
He then got into a three-point stance and charged Mahal, shoulder tackling the wrestler.
Gronkowski added a couple of foot stomps to Mahal before soaking it all in with his buddy Rawley, who won the match.
If football doesn’t work out for Gronk, there’s always wrestling.
