Brooklyn doesn’t appreciate LaVar Ball’s attitude.
As Lonzo’s father left the Barclays Center with Lakers’ first-round draft pick Thursday night, they heard it from the crowd.
As boos reigned down on the family, Lonzo, who has made it known he’s much more mild-mannered than his father, took it in stride.
LaVar, on the other hand, embraced the hate, took off his Lakers-colored Big Baller Brand hat and threw it into the crowd of haters.
That’s an expensive piece of draft memorabilia for whoever ends up with the hat.
On the Big Baller Brand website, most of the hats are priced upwards of $60 with shipping.
Lonzo should get used to the jeering, as he was also booed on his way to the podium when the Lakers selected him at No. 2.
Making matters worse for the rookie, players on the 76ers went out of their way to bash LaVar and Lonzo while the father was giving an interview on ESPN.
