The Titans and Broncos deserve a flag for these social media posts.
Both teams attempted to show their support for Mexico in light of the 7.1-magnitude earthquake that hit the country this week.
They both failed miserably.
Without the coat of arms in the center, the flag of Mexico is simply geen, white and red… better known as the flag of Italy.
The Titans and Broncos failed the realize that, instead replacing the crest with their respective team logos, which made it look like they were showing their love for Italy.
An MLB team got in on the flag errors too.
The White Sox tweeted before their game Wednesday that they send “their best wishes and thoughts” to Mexico and Puerto Rico (whose people are recovering from a devistating hurricane).
While they got the flag of Mexico correct, the team accidentally sent out a photo of the Cuban flag instead of the Puerto Rican one (which looks quite similar).
However, the White Sox did correct the error, replying to the tweet with the correct flag.
Hey, it’s the thought that counts.
