Mighty Quinn: April 13

Hats off to Timothy (Honest Tim) Myles, President Emeritus LIRR Bar Cart MQFC: “The Nassau County Board of the Ancient Order of Hibernians will be honoring Honest Timothy Myles as Hibernian of the year at their annual ball on Saturday at the Oceanside Knights of Columbus.

“Mr. Myles is the current AOH Nassau County Board President. He acquired the moniker ‘Honest Tim’ after a Mighty Quinn article about him while he was working for the Long Island Rail Road. The article described how Tim found a large amount of money and an unmarked envelope on a LIRR Train. He turned in the lost funds that were later reclaimed by a passenger.” — Jim Henry.

NYPD New: Carmine Sgroi, president of the Woodbury chapter of the MQFC, is delighted to announce his grandson, Joseph Sgroi, graduated from the New York City Police Academy in March.

Mighty was waiting on the Bruins on Wednesday and likes the Rangers on Thursday. The deficit is 905 sirignanos.
