Von Miller just racked up another sack.
An L.A. judge has ordered a woman not to release the sex tape recorded between her and the Broncos linebacker, TMZ reports.
The case took months to resolve in the courtroom.
The female party in the video, Elizabeth Ruiz, claimed to own 50 percent of the video. She also claimed that Miller gave her the green light to record the encounter, TMZ notes.
The video was shot during a trip to Mexico in June 2016.
In response to Ruiz’s claim that Miller consented to the video, he argued that the Instagram model was attempting to extort $2.5 million from him — using the tape as a sort of blackmail, TMZ notes.
Ruiz denied the allegations and asserted that Miller’s legal team approached her with a financial offer.
Much of the conflict seemed to be settled this week, as the L.A. judge issued an injunction in the case.
As a result, Ruiz cannot distribute the tape, nor can she let anyone see it.
Ruiz was also ordered to pay Miller $50,000 in attorney’s fees, TMZ writes.
To ensure the enforcement of the ruling, the judge ordered that the tape Ruiz had submitted for evidence be destroyed, too.
The model argued that she watches the video, TMZ notes, and sought to keep one copy.
It’s unclear if the judge will allow that.
