Dwight Howard wants to know what Twitter thinks about possible NBA trades.
Hawks send Howard and 31st pick to the Hornets for Miles Plumlee, Marco Belenelli and 41st.
That’s what The Vertical reported just minutes after Howard tweeted, “Ok Twitter Fans ,, give me your thoughts , trades or otherwise & Remember 2B-Nice.”
Howard either had no idea he was traded or decided to have a little fun with those on Twitter as he began his Q&A with a question about where he thinks Paul George is going.
“He has so many great options, tough 2 Call,” Howard tweeted.
Fans bombarded him with tweets about what he thinks about the Howard trade, which sends the the 31-year-old center to Charlotte just one year after Howard signed a three-year, $70.5 million deal to play for his hometown team.
The deal helps clear salary cap space for the Hawks.
Howard comes off a season in which he averaged 13.5 points per game and 12.7 rebounds per game while averaging just 29.7 minutes per game, the lowest amount of playing time in his career.
The Twitter Q&A appeared to end after the Paul George tweet, but if Howard has a sense of humor he’d give us his thoughts on his own trade.
Unless, of course, he’s unhappy. But when has Dwight Howard ever been unhappy?
