Draymond Green waited a long time to be this petty.
The Golden State forward "can’t forget" LeBron James’ "Ultimate Warrior" shirt from last year. He’s been thinking up ideas ever since the Cavs superstar had Steph Curry and Klay Thompson tombstone cookies at his Halloween party.
So during his team’s championship parade on Thursday, Green wore a shirt of his own to troll the Cavaliers, who lost in the NBA Finals rematch.
"Well the Q, that’s what those guys’ arena’s called, and we got them out of here quick," Green said while explaining his attire. "With the trophy: Quickie."
Of course, the Cavs play at Quickens Loans Arena and could only take one game from Golden State, after previously coming back from being down 3-1 to top the Warriors in last year’s Finals.
"I’m petty," Green admitted. "I’ve been waiting for awhile, just coming up with ideas."
It didn’t take time for James to respond with a dig of his own: Along with a picture of Green wearing the shirt at the parade, LeBron shared on Instagram "…. that’s what she said, HUH?!?!?"
Green, who said he made the shirt in Cleveland, said it’s all love between he and James, though, calling him "family."
